Socio-economic priorities for bioenergy value chains

IEA Bioenergy has established an inter-task project on the socio-economic implications of bioenergy systems for the 2025-2027 triennium.

This workshop aims to inform this work and ensure research aligns with real-world policy needs. Insights into priorities, challenges, and data requirements for socio-economic indicators will be gathered through engagement with workshop participants. Incorporating policy perspectives from the outset will allow the project to produce findings that are relevant and actionable for decision-making.

The workshop will follow an interactive format including short presentations, breakout discussions, and a moderated plenary session to capture policy priorities and actionable insights.
