Passes Categories
Government pass: Government officials can send an e-mail to registration@etaflorence.it to receive a complimentary pass to the event. Confirmations are subject to a manual approval process.
Press pass: free registration is available for accredited press members to cover EUBCE 2026. All press accreditations will be subject to a manual approval process. Visit: link
Speaker and poster presenters passes: full week or one-day pass is mandatory. For more information, please contact: biomass.conference@etaflorence.it
PhD pass* (maximum age 30) & Student pass** (maximum age 26): only full-time enrolled PhD and students, can benefit from the PhD and student rate. Each PhD and student registration will be subject to approval.

If participants are found to be ineligible for the category and/or the discount under which they have registered, the organiser reserves the right to adjust the registration fees applied.
Please note that proof of status required, i.e. either a copy of a valid 2026-2027 student ID card or an official letter from the educational institution, confirming that the registrant is a full-time student at the time of the event. A valid document, showing the date of birth is required. These documents should be uploaded during the registration process. Without these documents, the organiser reserves the right to proceed with regular registration.

EUBCE reserves the right to amend the listed prices should the prevailing rate of VAT be increased.
The early bird rate will be in effect until 19 March 2026. From 20 March onwards, the regular event rate will apply. From 19 May 2026 the onsite event rate will be applied and payment will be possible via credit card only.

Conference and Exhibition
1 All services listed are valid only for the purchased day.
2 In order to make our events more environmentally sustainable, we will not be serving meat for lunch. Instead, we will serve a variety of vegetarian choices.
Badges
A QR code to quickly print your badge on site will be sent by email to all registered participants a few days before the event. To avoid queuing, we kindly ask you to please take it with you before coming to the event.
Collection of your conference badge validates your attendance at EUBCE. At collection, the deposit paid during registration (caparra confirmatoria) is intended as participation fee.
Registration confirmation
You will receive your registration confirmation by e-mail once you have completed your registration.
If you do not receive the confirmation in your inbox, please check your spam folder. If you still cannot find the confirmation, please contact the registration team at registration@etaflorence.it
Networking app
The app will be available for download closer to the event. The event app will give you the opportunity to connect and network with other attendees before, during and after the event.
Visa invitation letter
An invitation letter will only be provided to registrants who have registered and paid the required registration fees for the Conference. Registrants who need an official invitation letter in order to obtain a visa should ask this immediately during the registration process or send their request to the Registration Team or filling the form link with the requested information.
Please note that ETA srl will not be able to contact or intervene with any Embassy or Consulate office on behalf of a registrant. The invitation letter does not financially or legally obligate ETA srl in any way. All expenses incurred in relation to the event and to obtaining a visa are the sole responsibility of the registrant. ETA srl do not accept any responsibility for travel, accommodation and/or other costs incurred due to the rejection of a registrant’s visa application.
The invitation letter is sent by e-mail. If the visa invitation letter needs to be originally signed and stamped by ETA srl, please note that it will be sent by via standard post. In case an express delivery is needed, the registrant shall arrange pick-up of the document on his/her own and will be responsible for all associated costs. ETA srl does not assume any costs for express delivery.
Should the visa application be denied or not approved in time to attend the event, ETA srl will only refund the full registration fee if the registrant provides the Registration Secretariat with an official document from the concerned Embassy/Consulate rejecting the visa and the application was submitted in due time. Please note that a notification sent to ETA srl after the event will not be accepted.
Refund
In case of cancellation of the registration before 19 March 2026, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded. No refunds are possible thereafter.
GDPR Information
After registration, closer to the event, you will have access to our networking app closer. This account will give you access to the participant list and for networking with other attendees before, during and after the event.
