Your abstract should:

• Present original, unpublished research
• Be written in English
• Follow the mandatory templates:
  • Scientific Track Abstract Template (.docx)
  • Industry Tack Abstract Template (.docx)
• Be 2 to 4 pages long (A4 format) for the scientific track
• Be 1 to 2 pages long (A4 format) for the industry track

Submission is easy through the online portal:

1. Log in to the User Area
2. Go to “Abstract Submission”
3. Complete all steps:
   • Step 1: Title, subtopic, presentation type, summary
   • Step 2: Author details
   • Step 3: Upload your abstract as a PDF file (make sure the file has no password protection, editing restrictions, or printing restrictions, the system cannot process locked or encrypted PDFs)
   • Step 4: (Optional) Apply for journal publication
   • Step 5: Submit and receive confirmation email

Abstracts are being evaluated by the international Programme Committee of over 150 experts.

Scientific Track submissions undergo an international peer-review process coordinated by the EUBCE Scientific Committee.

Industry Track submissions are evaluated based on their relevance, innovation, practical impact and contribution to industrial development.

Key selection criteria:

• Content aligned with the subtopic;
• Relevance to the biomass community;
• Innovation and scientific quality.

Selected abstracts may be considered for plenary, oral or visual/poster presentation, with plenary and oral sessions covering broader topics. Corresponding authors will be notified of the outcome by the end of December 2026.
