My first participation in the European Biomass Conference and Exhibition in 2024 in Marseille was a very pleasant surprise. As an economist working on biofuels, I am particularly interested in connecting scientific research with concrete outcomes and business applications. EUBCE provides exactly this type of environment, bringing together cutting-edge science and real-world opportunities for innovation and deployment.

What makes EUBCE especially valuable is its truly international character, bringing together experts and perspectives from around the world. The diversity and quality of the scientific and policy discussions are complemented by excellent networking opportunities.

Participating in the conference and, particularly, to the roundtable on sustainable aviation fuels, has had a direct and tangible impact on my work, helping to foster international collaborations and expand professional connections in the bioeconomy community.

I strongly recommend EUBCE for its outstanding learning opportunities, its dynamic international network, and its ability to connect science, policy, and industry in meaningful ways.
