Ultra-high Resource Efficiency in integrated Biomass & Power-to-methanol Plant: techno economics, flexibility and digitalisation

The BeBOP project’s parallel session is designed to offer an overview of the results of its first 18 months and current implementation status, while setting up a high-value discussion with participants on modelling-driven optimization for combining techno-economic analysis, digital twin development and operational flexibility strategies for bio-/e-methanol production systems. To achieve this ambitious goal, the session is structured into two interconnected and highly engaging panels:

  • 1st Panel – Inside the Technology: Presentations from the BeBOP consortium will explore key technological aspects of the BeBOP process, including process integration, resource efficiency and flexibility, as well as the features of the TRL6 BeBOP pilot plant and its scalability towards industrial deployment;
  • 2nd Panel – Designing the Future: A dynamic, interactive discussion aimed at bridging research outcomes with real-world implementation in a circular, bio-based context. Participants will be involved in the discussion on specific, focused blocks including technical and economic feasibility, business models, market barriers and competing solutions.

Conference or visitor pass registration is mandatory.
