The Bioeconomy and Bioenergy are key factors in realizing the targets and ambitions in the Green Deal. With a systemic approach the bioeconomy can provide several important solutions such as materials, chemicals and energy for a wide range of users. Bioenergy is a solution that can provide significant amounts of sustainable energy within a short timeframe. In the transport sector bioenergy will play a key role and we need to stimulate and create a balanced approach with other important solutions such as electrification and hydrogen. In these very challenging times we need to continue working closely together and get the job done in decarbonizing Europe and create a green recovery with green jobs.
