GreenMeUp project’s final event: insights, achievements and future perspectives on the European biomethane market

Since September 2022, this Horizon Europe project has powered the push for widespread biomethane adoption across the EU. Coordinated by CRES and 14 European partners, GreenMeUp provides crucial insights for policymakers and stakeholders to forge smarter energy policies.
Biomethane is vital for EU energy security and decarbonization, fitting seamlessly into existing infrastructure. With the REPowerEU target of 35 bcm annual production by 2030, our mission is urgent. Today, we unveil the project’s pivotal results and recommendations. These are essential for Europe’s energy future and achieving our 2030 and 2050 climate goals.
Thank you for joining us as we celebrate a significant stride towards a more sustainable energy system!

Conference registration is mandatory.
