Giuliano was a wonderful person who had a pretty amazing life. He had the intelligence, passion and energy that I admired so much, as did so many. He was a mentor and an example to the rest of us on how to live fully. I was always grateful and humbled that Giuliano always had the time to talk with me whenever I attended the EUBCE or other European Conferences. That said a lot about who he was.

He left the world a better place than it was when he entered. I will always have fond memories of the times spent with him.
