You must obtain a visa prior to entry if you come from a country with a visa requirement for entering France.
EU nationals do not require a visa to enter France.
What does a visa entitle you to?
A visa normally grants you the right to stay in the entire Schengen region.
The Schengen countries are: Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
A visa grants you the right to spend a maximum of 90 days per 6 months in the Schengen region.
Letter of invitation
An invitation letter will only be provided to participants who have registered and paid the required registration fees in full for the conference. Participants who need an official invitation letter in order to obtain a visa should fill the VISA online form at this link etaflorence.it/visa-application
Please note that EUBCE will not be able to contact or intervene with any Embassy or Consulate office on behalf of a participant. The invitation letter does not financially obligate EUBCE in any way. All expenses incurred in relation to the event and to obtaining a visa are the sole responsibility of the participant. EUBCE does not accept any responsibility for travel, accommodation and/or other costs incurred due to the rejection of a participant’s visa application.
Invitation letters are sent by e-mail. If original invitation letters are required, please note that they will be sent by regular mail. In case an express delivery is needed, the participant shall arrange pick-up of the document on his/her own and will be responsible for all associated costs. EUBCE does not assume any costs for express delivery.
EUBCE will grant visa invitation letters up to three weeks prior to the event date. Within three weeks to the event date visa invitation letters cannot be guaranteed.
Should the VISA application be denied or not approved in time to attend the event, EUBCE will refund the full registration fee if and only the participant provides the EUBCE Registration Secretariat with an official document from the concerned Embassy/Consulate rejecting the visa and that the application was submitted in due time. Please note that a notification sent to EUBCE after the event will not be accepted.

This procedure is intended to assist participants who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the 27th EUBCE Conference and Exhibition and is not an official invitation covering fees and/or any other expenses or financial support for the 27th EUBCE. The organisers are not to be held responsible for the outcome of your visa application.
* The Conference Registration fees are refundable if the visa application is denied. However an administrative charge of € 30, plus eventual bank charges will be deducted from all refunds if the Registration fee has been paid by bank transfer.
All refund requests will have to be received in writing before the Conference. No refunds will be made for cancellations received during or after the event.
