Registration Procedures

  • Follow the link: Online Registration (conference-biomass.com).
  • Login with your e-mail address and password to access your personal user profile.
  • Proceed to Registration and follow the instructions.
  • The online registration is completed with the receipt of your online registration form and payment.
  • A payment via credit card is recommended. Visa and Master cards are accepted.
  • After payment your personal accreditation and your invoice will be sent to your e-mail address.
  • You may also ask for an invoice in advance via the invoice button and pay via bank transfer or credit card.
  • Your invoice and accreditation will also be available in your user profile for instant download, at any time after payment.

Full Registration includes

  • Attend all live presentations plenary, oral and visual sessions, Industry tracks, parallel events.
    Browse research on the topics published in the digital book of abstract and connect with the presenters and other colleagues from around the world through online chat.
  • Join the Live Q&A sessions.
  • Network with colleagues: Browse the list of participants and click on their name to contact them.
  • Visit the online exhibition, join the Live Stage, explore the displayed materials, contact exhibitors directly, and chat with other visitors.
  • Before the Conference, you will receive your username and password to access the Virtual Platform.
  • The platform, with on-demand complete video recording will remain open for 12 months after the Conference.
  • Online Access to Scopus Indexed Conference Proceedings.

*PhD Student: Full time students only, maximum age 35

To qualify for the reduced PhD student fees upload one of the following original documents during the registration process:

  • Original and valid Student ID card indicating the date of validity
    or
    • Original personalised letter signed by the head of the relevant university or institutional department confirming the full-time PHD student status
    and
    • A valid document, showing the date of birth.
    Without these, EUBCE reserves the right to proceed with regular registration and to charge the corresponding registration fee.

**Student: Full time students only, maximum age 30

To qualify for the reduced student fees upload one of the following original documents during the registration process:

  • Original and valid Student ID card indicating the date of validity
    or
    • Original personalised letter signed by the head of the relevant university or institutional department confirming the full-time student status
    and
    • A valid document, showing the date of birth.

Without these, EUBCE reserves the right to proceed with regular registration and to charge the corresponding registration fee.

Free registration is available for accredited press members. All press accreditations will be subject to an approval process. link

Online Access to EUBCE Scopus Indexed Proceedings

  • The EUBCE Proceedings contain scientific papers presented during EUBCE and submitted for publication, representing a state-of-the-art information for researchers, decision makers, entrepreneurs and all involved in the biomass and bioeconomy sector.
    • The proceedings include full papers, slides presentation and poster presentation (if delivered for publication)
    • The proceedings, indexed in Scopus and Open Source, are available with free access, after publication in July: http://www.etaflorence.it/proceedings/

General Registration Conditions

The online registration process is completed with the receipt of your online registration form and your successful payment.

Do not forget to indicate your name, e-mail and phone number.

Register early to benefit preferential fees.

You may also ask for an invoice via the invoice button and pay via credit card or bank transfer within the deadline.

After successful registration and payment, your invoice and accreditation will remain available in your user area.

Your letter of attendance will be available in the user area.

Payment conditions

Payments must be settled in EURO.

Payments in any other currency will not be accepted.

For early bird payments must be received by the deadline 5 march 2022 for early bird fees.

Access to the conference without payment is not possible.

Payment options

Credit card:
Payment via credit card is recommended. Visa and Master cards are accepted.

Bank transfer:
Bank charges must be paid by the participants in addition to the registration fees. Please make sure to indicate all participant names and affiliations.

Cancellation

Any cancellation of registration must be notified by e-mail to registration@etaflorence.it

For cancellations received by 5 March 2022: 50% refund of registration fee.

From 5 March 2022: no reimbursement.

All refunds will be processed after the Conference.

All bank service charges will be deducted from the refundable amount.

Requests for reimbursements must be sent in writing.

Any refunds to credit card payments may only be credited back to the original credit card, there is no possibility of refunding to an alternate card.

All payments are not refundable including, without limitation, failure or inability due to illness, acts of God, public health crisis, government restrictions, travel-related problems, acts of terrorism, loss of employment and/or duplicate purchases.

Name Change

All registrations are only valid for the registered person.

A registered participant, unable to attend the Conference, may indicate a substitute participant.

This service is free of charge. For name change please send an email to: registration@etaflorence.it

Accreditations will be changed to new participant.

Previous invoices cannot be changed.

Rights of ETA as Organizer

ETA may validly, without liability to the participant, modify all aspects of EUBCE 2022 other than the dates (9-12 May 2022) if, in its opinion, the purpose of EUBCE 2022 can be attained by such modifications.

Disclaimer
Although ETA will use its reasonable endeavors to ensure that services provided for the Conference are supplied, the supply of such services is not within ETA’s control, and so it shall not be liable in any way to the participant for any loss or damage if any of such services shall wholly or partially fail or cease to be available. The participant shall not be entitled to any allowance in respect of sums paid or due under this Agreement. ETA takes no responsibility for the acts or omissions of any supplier of products or services (exclusive or otherwise) to the participants (including without limitation the participants) or for inaccurate copy instructions. ETA shall have no liability to the participants for any loss or damage it may suffer as a result of any act or omission of such suppliers.

The Conference organiser cannot be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage to any property, whatever the cause may be. Liability of persons and enterprises providing means of transportation or other services, however, remains unaffected. Should, for any reason outside the organisers’ control (e.g. political or economic circumstances or in the case of a ‘force majeure’) the venue or speakers change, or the event be cancelled, the organisers will endeavour to re-schedule, but shall not be held responsible for any costs, damages or expenses incurred by registrants. If for any reason the organisers decide to make material changes to this Conference, they are not responsible for airfares, hotels or other costs incurred by the participants. The customer takes part in the Conference, all tours and trips, at its own risk. Only written arrangements are binding. By taking part in this event you grant the Conference organisers full rights to use the images resulting from the photos videos filming. These images/videos could be broadcasted in the different digital channels with informative aims.

The validity, performance and interpretation of these general terms and conditions shall be governed by Italian law. Any dispute arising out of, or in connection with the validity, performance or interpretation of these general terms and conditions shall be submitted to the sole jurisdiction of the courts of Florence (Italy).
Registration of a participant entails acceptance of these conditions.
