ADVANCEFUEL - RESfuels path-ways contributing to the Paris agreement in transport
This workshop will focus on the conversion and end-use steps of the RESfuel value chain, which are also leading to policy relevant conclusions. The urgent need to renewable transport fuels in reaching GHG emission reduction targets will be highlighted, followed by the discussions regarding the status of conversion technologies and how to enable large deployments. The dilemma regarding the development of suitable engines versus fuels becoming available in a continuous supply will be an important element of this discussion. Further the workshop will zoom into the maritime and aviation sectors and recent updates from respective sector experts will be provided.
